Windows Account (in the Administrators group) and Windows 11 Ransomware ProtectionWindows local, Domain or MSN account in your machine - must have full administrator privileges
- PerfPRO's prerequisite for installation and running the software requires that the account must have full administrator privileges. Please check the setup of your Windows to ensure your account has the necessary privileges.
To double check:
- Type "cmd" or "Command Prompt" in the search bar.
- Click on "Command Prompt" from the search results.
- Type “whoami” and press Enter.
- This will return the local or domain account
- Type “net user <user>” for LOCAL user and press Enter; Type “net user <user> /DOMAIN” for DOMAIN user and press Enter
- PerfPRO requirement that the account is in the Administrators group
- Example: Look for Local Group Memberships, which should include *Administrators

- and Ransomware Protection (Windows 11)

Standard PerfPRO Executable (.exe files) are on App Folder
Check your Ransomware if it is OFF or ON (Windows 11):
- Open Ransomware Protection (Windows 11)
- IF OFF, No further action needed
- IF ON, you need to grant access to all PerfPRO folders and all PerfPRO executable files (.exe)
